DESCRIPTION

This electronics elective unit allows students to gain knowledge of electronic and electrical components, concepts and principals.

This elective is advantageous for students contemplating a career in an electronic and/or electrical trade or profession.

 

FOCUS

The recognition of symbolic representation, interaction and testing of individual components and circuit design blocks, for example:

Circuit diagram analysis, testing, modification and repair. Models are selected from various timers, sensor, audio, remote control and communication circuits.
